Week 1 (‘When medicine & technology meet humanity’)

A group of students aspirants to the medicine presented  in a paper on the topic ‘Electro Aspirin’ in the East Asian Medical Student Conference 2016 at Taipei, Taiwan. Describing the future of medicine to be “very bright and fascinating”, the paper looks at using hi-tech not only to diagnose and treat but even in prevention of various ailments. The aim is to improve ‘services rendered to the patients’ through ‘intensive technology inventions’ and accordingly, ‘Electro Aspirin’ has been described as a ‘health reforming technology’. They state that “people who suffer from prolonged headaches and migraines can get relief easily with this milestone technology creation”.The presentation on ‘Electro Aspirin’ identifies the basic mechanism of action of this technology—to stimulate the sphenopalatine ganglion or SPG nerves and block the pain-causing neurotransmitters thereby improving the quality of life of ailing patients to a large extent.

This is an advance that not only helps the medicine but also to the human wellness. This is only a proposal has not been carried out an experiment or created some kind of tablet as well. It would be a great advantage for those who are not allergic to aspirin. Hopefully, this proposal goes beyond the papers. With a pill so many health problems would be solved quickly.
